Trading in eToro

After several years of trading on eToro and being one of the most copied traders, Greeff now believes in the long-term potential growth of crypto and singles out Ethereum as a much better buy than Bitcoin.

Drawing some lessons from the pandemic that showed her the benefits of investing on high performing tech stocks, Greeff now chooses stocks based on their potential for vast cross-industry adoption in the years to come and its underlying technology.

“I’m not that heavily invested in driverless cars or any of those vibrant trends right now,” Greeff shares in one investment forum. “I’m thinking more about what the market will be like for this driver who has more free time now.”

Greeff now thinks that Blockchain is the one that garners the most interest of the trading public. "Cryptocurrency is a really easy way to introduce blockchain into society", Greeff said as if dropping hints to his copiers that she's ready to trade cryptos from now on.

Trading Methods

Dr. Greeff took advantage of eToro's demo account simulating trades of $100,000 until she quickly learned that trading in and out of positions every day was not a good idea. She then took to heart the importance of having patience and discipline in pulling off successful trades.

Drawing from her experience as an engineer who uses machine learning to study patterns, she started looking and analyzing trading patterns in the market. Doing so, she recognized the potential of the S&P 500 Index and noticed how several benchmarks high was being hit. It was then she decided to take on a conservative approach to her trading strategy. Since then, Greeff now retains a 60-stock portfolio with IBM and Mastercard being the two biggest.

Net Worth

To date, she has more than 19,000 copiers with over $5 million copy assets under management or AUM.

Since she started trading in 2016, Greeff has delivered an annual yield average of 30%.
